ABSTRACTImage of the Pacman Nebula or NGC281, at 9500 light-years from Earth. In this image many interesting objects can be seen. First the blue color corresponds to ionized oxygen while the orange color is ionized hydrogen. The hydrogen together with the dark clouds trace the stellar formation regions of the nebula. In the center of the image it is IC1590 an open cluster made of recently formed stars. This image was taken using the Wide Field Camera at the 2.54m Isaac Newton Telescope 2.54m. A total of five exposures of 180 seconds each were taken for each of the used filters.
