ABSTRACTA New View of the Elephant Trunk Nebula. IC 1396B in the constellation Cepheus imaged in the red light from hydrogen atoms. These images were obtained as part of the INT/WFC Photometric Hydrogen-Alpha Survey of the Northern Galactic Plane (IPHAS). Image obtained using the Wide-Field Camera on the Isaac Newton Telescope. The image scale is 5 degrees roughly.
