TITLETotal Lunar Eclipse 2019
KEYWORDSLa Palma Sky;Planets and satellites
DATE2019-01-21
DESCRIPTIONThis composition shows the evolution of a total lunar eclipse from the beginning to the totality. This event is among the natures most spectacular evens. It happens when the Moon passes into the Earths shadow, and only the scattered light from the Earths atmosphere reaches our satellite. The first image taken is on the left, and evolves in clockwise direction. The image in the center was taken at the maximum of the totality. The images were taken on the 21st January 2019, using a Canon EOS 6D Mark I camera with a Canon 100-400 L IS USM lens, on a SkyWatcher Star Adventurer mount.
