DESCRIPTIONThis is galaxy cluster Abell 1656 (the large elliptical galaxy in the middle is NGC4874). Astronomers from the University of Durham found a cosmic flow of galaxies across one billion light years of the Universe by studying clusters like this one. CCD image obtained with the Isaac Newton Telescope.
