DESCRIPTIONM 103 is one of the more remote open clusters in Messiers catalog, at about 8,000 light years or slightly more, the uncertainty mainly due to the less wellknown amount of obstruction for this cluster which lies well within the band of the Milky Way. Site2 CCD on Jacobus Kapteyn Telescope. 2*60 second exposures in Harris V, B and R filters.
