Pictures of Jupiter taken with the WHT AUX Port Camera during the Schoemaker-Levy event (18 July 1994 around 21.00 UT). The image on the left was taken through a Methane filter (CH4) and the picture on the right is in some continuum band. They were taken at nearly the same time. Images taken using the William Herschel Telescope and the Auxiliary Port CCD camera.
